Directional drilling is the process of drilling a pilot hole along a planned route between two predetermined points. The pipe or cable is then installed by using the drill string to pull it through the excavated route back to the start point. Reaming is done, if necessary, to upsize the hole. In trenchless technology, directional drilling is a favored method of installing underground utilities with minimum disruption to surface structures. Conventional excavation is messy and destructive. Directional Drilling is clean and quick. Our drills are incredibly powerful and perfectly accurate. Our trained technicians are highly experienced and take pride in their work. In good soil conditions, we can install over 100m of pipe per day, exactly as designed or planned.
We currently have a ditch witch 1720 which is a medium sized machine to tackle most jobs big or small. Its capable of 120m in a single drill shot and is capable of pulling back multiple ducts at once.
We now also have a Ditch Witch JT922 which is a small drill that can drill up to 70m in one shot. Having a smaller footprint the JT922 can fit into a lot of spaces the JT1720 cant.
